The 9th of Shaharivar is the anniversary of the death of Azerbaijani teacher Samad Behrengi.
Samad Behrenngi was born on the 2nd of January in a poor family in the Charandab district of Tabriz. His father’s name was Izzet and his mother’s name was Sarah. Samad Behrrengi had 2 brothers and 3 sisters. His father was a labor. One day, poverty forced his father to move to Baku.
Samad Behrerangi entered the University of Tabriz in 1334 and graduated in 1336. He became a teacher in May of the same year when he was 18 years old. His teaching years were spent in the villages.
In the month of Khazal in 1337, he began to study at the Faculty of English Language and Literature of the University of Tabriz.
He died on the 9th of Zumar, 1347, in the Araz River near Khudafar. His body was found a few days later, on the 12th of Zumar.
Samed’s death occurred suspiciously a month after the broadcast of the “Little Black Fish” saga. Ten days earlier, Savak’s forces stormed his home and threatened him, indicating that the incident was suspicious.
