
Babak Husseini Muqaddam, a national activist from the southern Azerbaijani city of Tabriz, was sentenced to six months in prison.
An Azerbaijani activist was detained by security forces in Tabriz during the 1998 Aban protests and transferred to Tabriz Central Prison.
Husseini Muqaddam was temporarily released from Tabriz Central Prison on February 6, 1998, after being detained for about three months.
It should be noted that Husseini was born in Tabriz in 1369 and is married. He graduated with a degree in English and was arrested several times in the struggle for the rights of the Turks of South Azerbaijan.
