The military unit of Ardabil will become a place of entertainment for tourists

Karim Lotfi Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage of Ardabil Province pointed out that due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus and the decrease in the presence of tourists, many parts of the province’s heritage and tourism, especially activists in Sarein, have suffered a lot of damage.

The province’s cultural heritage said:

“Last week, we managed to include the Ardabil military unit in the list of national works. Because this national part was inside the city, the townspeople demanded it. As there is no place to get fresh air in this part of the city, this military unit will be included in the list of national works and preserved in the same way. At the same time, 28 hectares of the military unit will be given to the city residents for fresh air.”

Lotfi also said about the ongoing renovations in Ardabil province: “9 renovation projects have been prepared, including the conversion of several historic houses and several schools into museums.”
In the meantime, 5 museums have been added to Ardabil museums.

Ardabil Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage announced the rescue excavation in Ahmad Bigloo Dam and said:
“Heritage and Tourism Research Institute has signed a contract with the province’s water and sewage unit to carry out rescue excavations in this area and archaeologists have been excavating for some time.” The historical hill of registration in this area was located in the construction area of the dam, so we tried to do a rescue excavation.

According to him, the coverage of the light panel of Yeri city has a national approval and is one of the programs of Ardabil province, which faced problems due to inflation but was resolved with the help of the Court of Accounts.
