MUGAN KESHT ART AND LIVESTOCK COMPANY STOPS SALES

Ardabil

The sale of the Mugan Kesht Art and Livestock Company in Ardabil has been suspended and returned to the state treasury. The statement came from Ardabil court chief Nasir Atabati. According to the report, the sale process was suspended on the basis of a decision made by the head of the Iranian judiciary, Ibrahim Reysi, during his visit here.

It should be noted that Mugan Kesht Art and Livestock Company, which covers an area of more than 28 hectares, is one of the unique treasures of Azerbaijan. Founded in 1338, the 60-year-old company has become a hotbed of political strife and economic turmoil. It has been put up for sale twice since 1397. It was first sold to Tehran’s Capital Development Market and Sava Biscuit Quarry. However, the Information Control Office opposed this situation.

On May 29, 1397, the sale of the company was entrusted to the Privatization Company. It was then illegally sold to Shirin Asal, which took second place in the auction. According to Iranian media, Shirin Asal bought Mugan Kesht Art and Livestock Company at a 50% discount. Illegalities were also committed during the payment of funds. Following the revelations, Shirin Asal took a number of steps to improve the company’s situation. Thus, work has been done under the auspices of more than 2,000 employees.

It should be noted that the workers wrote a letter to Ali Khamenei to suspend the sale process. There are doubts about the implementation of this work by Shirin Asal. It should be noted that the only victim in all these conflicts was the unique wealth of Azerbaijan. In Iran, the sale of state goods is always accompanied by corruption. Lack of transparency in sales and the inability of free media to function lead to the spread of administrative and economic corruption.
