Iran’s Supreme Religious Leader Ali Khamenei refused to give a traditional New Year’s address in the New Year, according to the lunar calendar.
This was stated by Khamenei’s office. Khamenei refused to give his traditional speech due to the danger of coronavirus.
Khamenei’s holiday speech should be at the Imam Reza Mosque on March 19 this year.
