Nasir Fagfuri, the head of the Zanjan Industrial, Gastric and Trade Organization, referring to the situation with the export of handmade carpets in the province, said that in 1398, the export of handmade carpets in the province was more than 10 million 58 thousand dollars.
Fagfuri said that the value of this amount of hand-made carpet exports is more than 821 billion riyals: The volume of hand-carpet exports decreased by 2,680,000 dollars compared to 1397 last year.
The head of the Zanjan Industrial, Mining and Trade Organization said: “The province’s handmade carpets are exported to the Gulf countries, Germany, Canada, Russia, Lubna and Italy. We hope that the province’s carpet exports will improve.”
Fagfuri stressed: “The quality of hand carpets in Zanjan is good. However, due to increasing sanctions and the spread of the crown in Isfand, the export of hand carpets has also decreased.”
He added that the 8raw materials of Zanjan carpets are completely natural, including wool, silk and natural dyes increase the quality of these carpets. We should pay more attention to the quality of the hand carpet.
