The governor of West Azerbaijan, Mohammad Mehdi Shahriyari, said that according to the approval of the National Coronavirus Control Committee, coronavirus restrictions will be processed in six other counties in the province.
Shahriyari told reporters on the 11th of Aban:
“These restrictions will start this week on the 14th of Aban. The governor’s administration intends to impose restrictions on the whole of Western Azerbaijan. According to the Ministry of Health, 6 cities have been added to the previous cities where coronavirus restrictions have been applied. Previously, only severe corona restrictions were applied to the cities of Savujbulag, Khana, and Maki, but now they will be applied to the cities of Khoy, Dilmagan, Bey Kandy, Sulduz, and Ushnaviya from this week and will last until next Friday.
The governor of West Azerbaijan also said that the restrictions of levels 3 and 4 began last Friday, especially in Urmu, and are still continuing:
“In the coming days, the country’s Interior and Health Ministers will hold a meeting with the chairmen and governors of medical science talks across the country. We will put forward new wishes in this meeting and we hope that they will be brought to the attention of the ministers. ”
It should be noted that 50,000 people have been infected with coronavirus in Western Azerbaijan so far, and more than 1,800 people have died. The West Azerbaijani master has been declared completely red for coronavirus.
