Sarab police have arrested Azerbaijani cultural activist Sahand Maali.
Sahand Maali contacted his family at 10 pm yesterday and said that police officers had arrested him at work.
He also said that he was taken to Sarab prison and sentenced to 10 years and 10 months in prison under two separate sentences.
However, the Azerbaijani political and cultural activist, 12 ordibehesht, was arrested in 1398 in connection with the execution of the above-mentioned cases, and after that, taking into account the previous days of his sentence and the combination of both cases, 27 Bahmans were released in 1398.
At the time of his arrest, police said the sentences against him had not been commuted and he should serve another year.
