Turkish activists Ali and Reza Vasigi were released on bail after a week-long interrogation pending trial.
It should be noted that they were beaten by officials at their workplaces in Ardabil and arrested without a court verdict.
One day after their arrest, their workplaces were inspected by officials from the Ardabil Information Office. A number of their personal belongings and computers were confiscated.
Neighbors say the two brothers were beaten by police because they wanted arrest warrants.
Neighbors also protested in Ardabil’s Uprising Square because the officials’ behavior was very harsh. As the protests increased, four cars were brought to destroy them.
Ardabil activists and human rights activists also wrote slogans on the city walls. They condemned the brothers’ arrest and demanded their unconditional release.
