On the 24th of Khordat, 1399, the 26th Division of the Tehran Court of Appeals informed the lawyer of national activist Siamak Mirzaei orally about the ARREST.
Judge Iman Afshari of the 26th Division of the Tehran Revolutionary Court deported Gaina after three years in Evin prison.
According to the verdict, he was sentenced to 1 year and 10 days in prison on charges of “propaganda against the system.” He was also banned from leaving the country for two years. Because the verdict was in absentia, it could be reconsidered in a retrial.
