Ajabshir Governor Adil Asgarpur said that the recent floods had damaged 17.5 billion tomans of crops, infrastructure and houses in Galachay province.
Adil Asgarpur said during the inspection of the flooded areas: “The flood affected 7 villages of Ajabshi, Yaychi, Guzluja, Hargilan, Almalu, Chaharbrud, Huri and Chinar.
As soon as the flood started, the Red Crescent and other agencies immediately came to the region and worked, and in the first hours the roads were opened and the facility was repaired. Due to the ineffectiveness of the braids on the banks of the rivers, the water flowed to the village of Guzluca, causing many injuries. The flood destroyed 45 houses in the region, damaged 65 houses and destroyed three bridges.
