Secretary of the Islamic City Council of Tabriz Said Niku Khislat spoke about bringing the tomb of the country’s poet Parvin Etisami from Gum region to his native Tabriz.
“We have repeatedly discussed this issue and will continue to work in this direction.”
Speaking at the opening of the Parvin Etisami pedestrian crossing on April 4, Said Niku Khislat said, “The city council has supported the relocation of Parvin Etisami’s grave to Tabriz.”
Niku Khislat said: “If we can introduce the identity of the poet Pavin Etisami to our people, we can turn Tabriz into a center for meetings and festivals for women at the national and international levels.
Niku Khislat also said, “Parvin Etisami wrote poems with deep meaning, despite the despotism of his time. Therefore, we must introduce the role of this poet in our literature to the world.
