An Iranian border guard was killed while patrolling the border area yesterday.
A soldier of the Iranian Border Guards, Afshin Ashnavar, serving at the Piranshahr border checkpoint in the West Azerbaijan region, has died.
According to the Gilan district, the soldier, a resident of the city of Fuman, was killed during a patrol yesterday.
It should be noted that Piranshahr is one of the Kurdish cities in Iran and is located on the border with Iraq.
