Mehdi Ashja, CEO of Ardabil Aco Battery, said: “This production complex is the only complex in the country that has produced and sold from zero to 100% in bulk and in small quantities, by activating the D&R unit and using technical knowledge.” Germany and Turkey are trying to produce and market industrial batteries, telecommunications and even electric cars, and to ship 30% of their products to foreign markets.
Referring to the inauguration of this production unit during the recent visit of the President and in the presence of the Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade, he said: “This factory has been set up on a land area of 14,000 square meters and spent more than 1,500 billion.”
He added: “By launching this production unit, while increasing production and meeting the domestic demand for car batteries, three million dollars of foreign currency will be prevented from leaving the country annually, which will be $ 20 million by completing the factory capacity.”
According to him, the annual production capacity of this factory is one million car batteries, which in the first, second and third phases will directly create employment opportunities for 280 people, and with the launch of the fourth and fifth phases, the number of employees will increase to 800 people.
Ashja added: Akubatri has already started its activities in three phases of plate construction, assembly and recycling in order to comply with environmental standards, and the other two phases are being completed.
